LAWKI - Disaster Preparedness

Survival is an important theme of our the new novel we will be reading as a class, Life As We Knew it by Susan Beth Pfeffer. The quick thinking of the main charachter's (Miranda) mother helps the family survive the initial stages of a global natural disaster.

    1 I'm not prepared because they rarely happen in New York

    2 You don't want to be in a building or car, you should drink plenty of water, protect your head

    2. you have to wear a helmet 24/7, you have to learn to swim and dont wear an antenna when a lightning storm comes for you!

    1- i would not be prepared at all

    2- 1. never be in an mobile home during a tornado

    2. never go outside during an earthquake

    3. a gallon of water is enough water fr a human for one day
