LAWNI - Chapter 9

In this chapter, Miranda thinks a lot about her relationship with her family, Jonny's lost childhood due to the disaster and has a deep discussion about faith with Megan.
  1. At the beginning of the chapter, how has the strain of the events following the asteroid attack begun to wear on Miranda's family relationship?
  2. As a reader, what concerns do you have about Megan?
  3. What does Miranda realize about her mom when she visits Megan for the last time? (pp. 164–65)
  4. What does Miranda realize when she said "Its hard to believe I was ever that young. I guess Jonny will never be" (p. 166).

    1.One thing is that Matt is not talking much to any one and johnny is acting more mature and miranda and her mom are fighting more.

    2. She is getting to thin and what is going to happen to her.

    3. Miranda realizes that she needs her mom.

    4.It is hard for her to remember what is was like when she was that young and that johnny will not be able to forget what it felt like.

    1. The strain of the events following the asteroid attack begun to wear on Miranda's family relationship by makeing them not be that close of a family eanymore.

    2. As a reader the concerns I have about Marinda is she does not eat anough and is to skiny.

    3. Miranda realizes that her mom feels the same way Magan does about lif and Miranda feels bad for her mom.

    4. Miranda feels that Jonny is growing up to fast and Miranda isn't and she thinks Jonny is helping out with the family to much like an adult.

    1: The asteroid has affected her family by makeing marandia and her mom fight more often and they make marainda feel not as loved as before.

    2:That she might die and that she isnt eating as well as she should be and she thinks that sacrificeing herself to god is a good thing but that god might not be saying this is a good idea.

    3: That she is eating less and less evryday

    4: That jonny might not get a real teen age life because of how the world is.

    IT has affected her entire life and contues to affect her family and friends megan has gone mad ever sience megan died and has gotten worse sience astroid moon crises

    her mom has also gone compleatly insane along with megan
